I think I have fallen for...

Dr Hattotuwa the consultant and Dr Alex Carrington my tutor FY. In a nut shell, they are the best I could ever wished for. I am far from being terrified or timid now in the team. I feel like I am part of it. The first hour after arriving in Broomfield Hospital, Alex asked me to do arterial puncture on an old lady. Mark it, that was my first ever ABG. Woot!

On the second day, I did three venepunctures and certified a dead man, joined a team of experts in Xray Meeting which helped me a lot to understand X-rays and CTs now.

Today, the third day, during ward round, I had informal teaching from the big boss Dr Hattotuwa. He had been really nice and really funny. This is good for my learning, he has been casual and so do I. During lunch, a cuppa hot choc for the whole team. On him. Seronoknya!

Alhamdulillah everything went well, and Broomfield has been lovely. But...

**NB Dont carry big bag otw to here, it's such a hassle
** Network coverage sucks as hell.
**Wear comfy shoe, the hospital area is so big u can hurt your leg by walking too much
**Dont fret, we have Costa and M&S for casual munching and caffeine fix.
**Forgot to express my appreciation to Alex on how sweet he is being my tutor and allowed me to practice venepuncture on him first, before doing it on the patients. I heart u :')
