Challenge 27# Daily mantra

Instead of saying "I have to do...", say "I decide to..."
This is a phrase that I pick up upon reading Anthony Robbin's book. This quote has been the backbone of almost all decisions I made. He mentioned in his book that many people put the wrong emotions to their actions. People make it sound as though all the chores and tasks are are forced, instead of people willing to do them. Forceful, undesirable acts are often the hardest one. People wake every morning yawning "Ouh damn, I have to go to lectures to day. I have to finish up my case report." and drag themselves out of bed.

So alternatively, Robbins suggest that we make every act feels like it comes from within. Because to be really honest, nobody cares if you don't go to lectures, nobody gives a damn if u don't submit your case report. The outcomes go around affecting your report card, your academic progress, your future career. The lecturers hardly give a damn because they still get a paycheck no matter you proceed or not.

So instead, think "I decide to go to lectures, I decide to finish this report so that I don't have to repeat my year, so that I proceed in this course." So start deciding what exactly that you want.
