After weeks and weeks of endogenous catecholamines , I found it amazing that my body is still able to work harder when the stressful stimulus is taken away. Exam is over and I celebrated it by staying up all night, finishing up a 'DIY project' and accomplishing get-that-cheap-oysters-and-scallop mission - an ability I wish I had during revision week before the final exam.
I thought I was gonna crash right after the last paper and wake up 24 hours later, instead, the fun-o-lamines kept me energised and up all night. Right after exam at 3pm on Friday the 6th, we went to have lunch. Since I had been eating recklessly throughout revision week, I was craving for proper carbohydrate. After lunch, I went home, packed a bag and went to Miane's for sleepover.
Her crib is amazingly overlooking the best sight of London. We spent the evening talking whilst observing at the skyline and the River Thames as the sun set. Around 9pm, my ever so talented Miane started on making-emey's-skirt-project, I helped out, then we chilled for a bit at the spa downstairs (the warm stone bed was amazinggg for the cracked back), a quick dinner of grilled salmon wrapped in lettuce in between, finished the skirt and treated ourselves some Magnum ice creams.
We'd planned to grab some fresh scallops and oysters from the fish market at 6 in the morning, so our movie of choice Inception was streamed to keep us awake. Amazing my brain worked a little better this time that I get the movie so well compared to the first time when it was a complete blur.
All in all, Alhamdulilah that Part 3 exam is done. Now, I hope it's all well.
PS: fresh oyster is best when it's eaten raw.
