If I have a kitchen of my own, it would be the cleanest kitchen, just like in show house or IKEA. It's not that I don't like cooking, I just hate cleaning up after that. The thought of having to sacrifice the time and putting so much effort in cooking for one person is not worth it. FYI, I practically live alone. The other flatmates all cook for themselves because all of us have different schedule. Cooking rota is utterly impossible. So I resort for ready meal and instant food i.e. microwaveable food. They are cheap and easy and tasteyyy. Therefore, I am lacking of talent in the kitchen, but I do have good palate. Nevertheless, 'cook more' is one of the year's resolutions. It's time to sharpen the skill and nurture the habit because tasty home-cooked meal is a lad magnet. Not?
Notes from the kitchen (things I recently learn):
- Bak choy in tomyum is not a bad idea
- Gingerbread cupcakes is the best sweet cup of spices
- Attempted to boil eggs in boiling water, it then cracked.
- A cup of brown rice needs 2-3 times the cup of water.
- Salmon grill is the expensive, tastier and healthy substitute to oven baked fries.
- Bake salmon for just 12 minutes or else it'll taste like face cotton.
- Salad cream is a flavourful substitute to mayonnaise.
