We are waiting here at South Station for the train to New York!
We left our house at Ferry Street around 8.30 am to avoid the rush hour. The bus was normally less packed than the subway, but unfortunately today, we squeezed into a packed bus but casually hopped onto empty subway carriages. We got here at the main train station 1.5 hours earlier, which is good.
We chilled with coffees and doughnuts (getting our daily dose), and out of sudden our luggages were sniffed by a huge police dog. Hmmm, right. And then later I realised the public education on how to spot terrorist, the vast number of polices around the station and how to safe yourself if such events happened. I didn't realise how serious they are regarding safety. And our bags were sniffed twice!
Well, interesting.
Anyhoo, goodbye boston, hello New York.
