Of farewell and vacuity (in 100 words - only)

It’s nothing new for her but for him, it’s strikingly life changing. Finally today’s the day the cronies bid him goodbye. It hits him harder today that tomorrow he has to wake up to nothingness and quietness. Their property is half empty except of his belongings and some leftovers they purposely left for him to benefit from. He knew this is happening. When it does, it passes by too quickly. He can still hear their footsteps, chatters, annoying jokes and laughter echo as he stands alone. That’s when he turns to her whom empathetically fills the spaces they left empty.
