Write your novel

Obsession for self-help arose since I first learn about chicken soup for the souls. Later, I learn to search for more online when I learn to connect my father's super vintage laptop to the internet. It was awesome, I learnt a lot of how-to's and do-and-don't's. I still do it today but the habit kinda have its season. 

But lately, I am surprised by the number of self-help blog suggesting to write a novel and telling how to write a novel. Seems like a pretty legit challenge, I have taken up Malay writing as my project when I was in boarding school and had written a lengthy short story (mini novel). It was horrible, I don't even remember the story, I am not sure if I still have the copy. Hope not. 

But what about this sudden phenomenon of writing a novel is the new hit challenge? Seems like everyone is encourage to go craycray on the typewriter and be the next John Green. I don't know, I am intrigued, challenged but not too sure if the product will be worth of anything, be published, be sold yet be read. Shy shy me.
