'Britishly' organised

We had an introduction to our placement yesterday. The registrar talked through our timetable, list of consultants, labour wards, list of clinics and list of theatres we could attend. Before we end the intro session, she pointed us to sheets of blank tables with clinics and theatres for us to pick, choose and fill in according to our preferences so there won't be more than 2 people in one clinic/labour/ward rounds.

Then all the other students, whom are British students started pulling out these tiny hardcover books and flipping through the pages. We discussed which slots are for whom etc and their hands scribbling on their tiny books. In the end, all are organised - the whole four weeks of placement are now arranged into their set of time, carefully written on that tiny books or better known as 2013 diary.

Except for me, I jotted everything on a piece of paper now it has gone missing!

PS: or maybe (before we generalise that all British are organised and own a diary), it's just the local students that I am grouped with now since we're a group of 8 girls.
